Michaela Wilding is een internationale bloemist, internationaal meesterbloemist opgeleid door Gregor Lersch, EMC-afgestudeerde en EMC-mentor gevestigd in Nederland. Ze begon haar professionele reis bij het Boerma Instituut, waar ze de Fundamentele en Advanced Floral Design-programma's afrondde, voordat ze doorging met de Bloom Up Masterclass onder leiding van Tom de Houwer. Toegewijd aan levenslang leren heeft Michaela haar artistieke visie verfijnd door onderwijs bij internationaal erkende meesterbloemisten en deelname aan internationale bloemevenementen. Via Symphonie de Fleurs creëert ze hedendaagse botanische sculpturen en bloeminstallaties geïnspireerd op textuur, beweging en vorm, waarbij duurzame mechanica wordt gecombineerd met hoogwaardige botanische materialen. Met een passie voor onderwijs inspireert ze ontwerpers om creativiteit, zelfvertrouwen, technische uitmuntendheid en hun eigen onderscheidende artistieke ontwikkeling te ontwikkelen.

Deze meeslepende masterclass van zes uur verkent hedendaags bloemontwerp via textuur, beweging en vorm. Deelnemers leren hoe ze botanische materialen kunnen omzetten in expressieve sculpturale composities door sterke ontwerpprincipes te combineren met creatieve vrijheid. Samen zullen we balans, ritme, proportie, lijn en ruimtelijke compositie verkennen, terwijl we duurzame, schuimvrije bouwtechnieken en verfijnde mechanica ontwikkelen. Door demonstraties, schetsen en praktische begeleiding ontdekken studenten hoe ze harmonie kunnen creëren tussen natuurlijke materialen, structuur en negatieve ruimte. De focus ligt niet alleen op technische uitmuntendheid, maar ook op het ontwikkelen van een individuele artistieke stem en het vertrouwen om te experimenteren. Elke deelnemer maakt een hedendaags botanisch beeldhouwwerk dat hun eigen creatieve interpretatie weerspiegelt, terwijl ze waardevolle kennis, inspiratie en technieken opdoet die toepasbaar zijn op toekomstig bloemwerk.

Alle materialen, decoratie, bloemen, drankjes, snacks en lunch zijn inbegrepen.De masterclass vindt plaats op maandag 20 April van 10.00 tot 16.00 uur.

Michaela Wilding is an international florist, international master florist trained by Gregor Lersch, EMC graduate and EMC mentor based in the Netherlands. She began her professional journey at the Boerma Institute, where she completed the Fundamental and Advanced Floral Design programs, before continuing with the Bloom Up Masterclass led by Tom de Houwer. Committed to lifelong learning, Michaela has refined her artistic vision through education with internationally recognized master florists and participation in international flower events. Through Symphonie de Fleurs, she creates contemporary botanical sculptures and floral installations inspired by texture, movement and form, combining sustainable mechanics with high-quality botanical materials. With a passion for education, she inspires designers to develop creativity, confidence, technical excellence, and their own distinctive artistic development.

This immersive six-hour masterclass explores contemporary floral design through texture, movement, and form. Participants will learn how to transform botanical materials into expressive sculptural compositions by combining strong design principles with creative freedom. Together, we will explore balance, rhythm, proportion, line, and spatial composition, while developing sustainable, foam-free building techniques and sophisticated mechanics. Through demonstrations, sketches, and hands-on guidance, students discover how to create harmony between natural materials, structure, and negative space. The focus is not only on technical excellence, but also on developing an individual artistic voice and the confidence to experiment. Each participant will create a contemporary botanical sculpture that reflects their own creative interpretation, while gaining valuable knowledge, inspiration, and techniques that can be applied to future flower arrangements.

All materials, decoration, flowers, drinks, snacks and lunch are included.The masterclass will take place on Monday 20 April from 10.00 to 16.00 houre.
