I am Lily Beelen from the Netherlands, Master florist and Freelance floral artist.
I have two passions in life, my Family and Flowers. As a kid I was always fascinated by flowers. When I became a Master Florist it changed my life forever. In 2015 I became a freelance floral artist and won VBW Flowercup. In 2017 I became a member of the Floral Fundamentals Family.
Last few years I got the opportunity to visit several countries like Japan, China, South Korea, England, Ireland, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Italie, Philippines, Oman, Singapore, Amerika for work or give demonstrations or design for Flower Festivals & Bridal shows.
Speciality: Colour combinations and harmonies, shapes and natural lines. Translating emotions into floral art.
The beauty of the profession is you can express feelings via creations with flowers in combination with other materials. Translating emotions of me or the customer into floral art.
I work for florists, provide floral demonstrations all over the world.
Decorate for special occasions for private customers like weddings or funerals.
I give workshops for amateurs and professionals and guest courses at florist schools. Very fulfilling to be able to inspire and motivate enthusiastic young new talent and pass the love I have for the profession.
In my work I often choose a contrast between modern forms and natural lines. And sometimes I am very abstract, starting from a mathematical form and merging this together with flowers. I get my inspiration from around me. Nature, art, architecture, fashion, music and sparring with colleagues. I love to create something unique from flowers. Fusion of all kinds of styles. To challenge myself and further develop and search for new materials and forms. Learning from everything and everyone but above all remain myself: Just Lily

Deze Masterclass bestaat uit twee delen die we vandaag gaan maken.
Deel 1:We maken een unieke vorm en geven zo een paar bloemen een podium.
Gipsverband, kippengaas en een ijzeren pin op voet.
Met deze drie ingrediënten creëren we een uniek nieuw object.
We werken met verfijnde natuurlijke materialen. Met als finishing touch plaatsen we een paar bloemen in de vorm.
Deel 2:
We maken een vaasje voor één bloem. Ik noem Funny 'Vases on Legs. Zo gauw je deze gemaakt hebt smaakt het naar meer :)
Alle materialen, decoratie, bloemen, drankjes en snacks zijn inbegrepen.
This Masterclass consists of two parts regarding what we are going to make today.
Part 1:
We create a unique shape to give a few flowers a stage.
Plaster bandages, chicken wire, and an iron pin on a base. With these three ingredients we will make a unique new shape. We work with refined natural materials. The finishing touch will be to place a few flowers in the object.
Part 2:
We are making a small vase for a single flower. I call these Funny vases on legs. Once you have made this, you will want to make more:)
All materials, decoration, flowers, drinks, snacks are included.
The masterclass is on Sunday 31st of January from 13.30 to 17:30

1 februari 2027:
Het draait allemaal om lijnen, vormen en kleuren. En een paar bloemen laten stralen.
Creëren van nieuwe frames met karton en lijm. Lijm gebruikt op een op een decoratieve manier.
Tijdens de demonstratie laat ik via voorbeelden de verschillende technieken zien. Ook laat ik commerciële ideeën zien met minimal gebruik van bloemen groot effect kan geven.
We gaqn aan de slag met de verschillende mogelijkheden en ontwerpen 2 frames waarvan één met een paar bloemen.
Deze frames kun je vaker gebruiken voor verschillende seizoens doeleinden. Op de foto zie je ideeën met karton, wijzelf gaan die dag nog één stapje verder.
Alle materialen, decoratie, bloemen, drankjes snacks en lunch zijn inbegrepen..
De masterclass is op 1 Februari van 9.00 tot 14.00 uur. De deur is open vanaf 8.45 uur.
It's all about lines, shapes & colours. And make a few flowers shine. Different framework in combination with cardboard and glue creating new frames.
Gluing in a decorative way.
During the demonstration, I will show the various techniques using examples. I will also demonstrate commercial ideas where minimal use of flowers can achieve a big effect.
We will get to work with the various possibilities and design 2 frames, one of which will feature a few flowers.
You can use these frames more often for different seasonal purposes. In the photo you see ideas with cardboard; we ourselves are going a step further that day.
All materials, decoration, flowers, drinks, snacks and lunch are included.
The masterclass is on 1st of February from 9:00 to 14:00. The door opens at 8.45
